Acutran AcuSeal Process
Acutran has developed a sealing process which can be specified for any Acutran transformer. The AcuSeal process provides superior coil protection for the transformer used in harsh environments. It's a cost-effective alternative to liquid-filled or cast coil transformers and it is customizable.
The AcuSeal process can be used on transformers ranging from 50VA to 4MVA.

Coils are processed in a VPI chamber ensuring a thorough penetration of resin for additional insulation

AcuSeal only adds 2 – 3 days to the overall manufacturing process
The AcuSeal option provides cost savings as compared to Cast Coil or Liquid Filled Transformers.

TEMPERATURE RISE RANGE
Customizable Temperature Rises from a starting range of
80°C to 150°C.
AcuSeal can be included on AA, FA or even for FFA (Future) Cooling Methods.
All AcuSeal Transformers can be built with customizable HV & LV Terminals to meet end user connection requirements.
Allows multiple voltage designs, dual HV voltages with individual taps, and multiple LV voltages with individual power ratings.
All AcuSeal Transformers can be developed to meet a specific Impedance Range.
CORE & COIL or ENCLOSED
All AcuSeal Transformers can be sold as core & coil, enclosed NEMA indoor or outdoor designs with flanged throats or custom air terminals.
